People often have different options of meal portions. We have different choices of drinks and meals. However, each meal is not exempted from having extra calories. It is the liquid calories and solid ones. Liquid calories are found in the drinks and other beverages that we often drink daily. The solid calories are found in the foods that we eat such. The different sources of liquid calories are milk, juice, soda and alcoholic beverages. Liquid calories can also increase the feeling of fullness. The liquid calories have various ingredients that may affect the work of the diet hormones in the body. It can also delay weight loss or may cause a weight stall. Sweetened energy drinks or weight loss drinks are also not allowed. It does not just have calories but also it has sugar and other ingredients that can trigger weight gain. The only allowed liquids on the HCG diet are tea, coffee, and water. 

Everyone is familiar with solid calories. This is very common and easy to avoid than liquid calories. On the HCG diet, the allowed foods are already provided for everyone. These food choices are carefully chosen for the VLCD as well as for the rapid weight loss. The successful weight loss comes after you will follow what is in the protocol. Each dieter is encouraged to count the calories in each meal serving. Liquid and solid calories must also watch off even after the VLCD. The caloric restriction of the HCG diet is safe because of the HCG hormones. It helps and rested the brain and body for a healthy lifestyle. It will also help in curbing hunger as it resets the metabolism of the dieter.
