  • Break your 500 calorie meal- This is a safe technique of having something to eat for the entire day. Instead of eating the 500 calorie meal all at once, you can portion it. Make sure that you do not go beyond the allowed daily calorie requirements on VLCD.
  • Avoid sugar and unhealthy ingredients- Unhealthy food ingredients and sugar can trigger your cravings. It also makes the food more appealing to eat and may ruin your HCG diet. If you want your food to taste sweet you can add stevia on it.
  • Avoid processed drinks- Aside from processed foods you also have to stop drinking unhealthy beverages. Do not drink alcohol, wine, juice, energy drinks, and even weight loss soda. This is because it has empty calories that will convert into body fats right away.
